Removing steering column cover

Ok, took the column apart today ... there are two T20 screws near the steering wheel, and one in the center of the cover, all of them on the bottom. First had to move the dash panel under the column out of the way... it is hinged on the bottom, lift the column as high as it will go, grab the dash panel under the column and pull straight back. Remove the three T20 screws and pull down, sharply, and seperate the two halves of the cover.

I was not able to order a new switch from Advance Auto, but was able to order at NAPA. Got the new switch coming in Friday for $68.

Will post again when I finish the job.

Picked up the new turn signal switch from NAPA. With shipping and tax, the total cost was $83. One phillips screw holds the switch in place, and there are two electrical connectors to remove. Replaced the switch. Reinstalled the column cover, and test drove to ensure everything worked the way it should.
