I know they're 6.5" speakers and I already have an entire Pioneer setup (HU: DEH-4900, 12" Sub: TS-W308D4, 1200W MonoBlock Amp: GM-D8400M) So I was looking at Pioneer for door speakers too. That way I could keep it the same all the way through. I was looking at these http://www.millionbuy.com/piotsa643p.html but do I need 4 way? or 3 way? or 2 way? lol I was looking at the 4 way because they can handle more wattage. Here is the 2 way set, http://www.millionbuy.com/piotsd602p.html, they can handle 260 watts. Here is the 3 way set, http://www.millionbuy.com/piotsa633p.html, they can handle 220 watts.

I'm kind of leaning toward the 2 way or maybe the 4 way, the 2 way looks like it is a lot higher grade speaker, but the 4 way can handle more power. Also, can you replace the tweeters in the dash of the KJ?

I would get a set of component speakers for the front, which means mounting the separate tweeters in the dash, or on the door panel at arm level.

Well if I go 2 way those will be what I get! I didn't realize it but they're D series and the 3 and 4 ways are only A series.

1) Stock opening is 6 3/4" If you get 6.5" you MAY need adapters. But it looks like those you linked are 6 3/4

2) There are no direct tweeter replacements for jeep liberty, you will need a custom bracket, check the topic I started recently with a link, or you will have to craft one out of any material available in order to mount any aftermarket tweeter.

3) Go with components, you will need another amp, not sure what your H/U puts out, but I would get an amp.

4) I was thinking of going with alpines since they have small x-overs or infinity ref's when i checked options.
