Jeepin05 put these in his lift:
Boiler's 3/8" Shims - $48 - Boiler
Rear Upper Isolators - 1 extra per side - $17.64 - MoparOnlineParts.com

and ive seen in other posts where shims and isolators are mentioned.

He said that he got 3" of lift..

Are these only to add extra height to the lift?

If i DONT do either of these will i be missing a crucial part to the lift?

I dont want to get man tires ( totally useless for me except for the RARE occasion that ill go offroad)

So, to rephrase, are shims and isolators needed or are they just for added height?

Will my lift be level without adding these extra or will i wind up with my nose in the air ( i hate lifted vehicles with thier butts dragging )

I did read through the lift section stickies and didnt quite see a solid answer to these questions.. If there is a post that addresses them please le tme know.. and i apologize now..

Nope they aren't required for the OME/Rancho lift. My understanding is that it just gives you a little more lift, but are optional.

Boiler's shims are used in the front, they slide on top of the strut assembly prior to installing. The upper isolators are for the rear, they're inserted in the top part of the spring housing before the spring is installed.

I put the extra isolator in the rear with the hopes of holding the factory slant (rake?) with the rear end being a tad higher than the front end. I was happy with the result.

Or if you think the rear is sitting to high for the front...You could do a clevis lift with 1/2/3 codnuts(think thats how they are spelled).
