Should my lift be higher?

So, I've been reading around and it seems my setup is a little lower than others with similar hardware. My right front is 20.25" and left is 20.75" from center hub to egde of fender. I've noticed most others are between 22-23", whats the deal?

This is my hardware:

OME 927's
Rancho rsx17505
Daystar upper strut plates(No, I don't have the .75" spacer, but it still seems lower than it should be)
OEM upper/lower Iso's

there is a thread floating around here about the proper use of daystar strut plates with the OME/Rancho set up. it appears that you have (UNFORTUNATELY) proven the consensus correct about the .75" spacer.

That extra 3/4" spacer will net more height gain than just .75". It forces the IFS to flex more and moves the CV's and control arms closer to the midline of the vehicle which also bring up the height of the vehicle. It is the main reason why you didnt net the full 2-4" that most get. Right now, your springs dont have enough tension on them (not preloaded enough). In fact ur probably getting close to what OME claims you will get as far as height inc with their springs alone (minus the daystar plates).

I just built my own little frankie stepchild lift with:
OME927
RSX17505
Rusty .75" spacer
Daystar Upper plates
RRO UCA's

and I'm right at 23.5" in the front

If you would of used the stock top plate you would of gotten more lift, the Daystar is what killed you.
Stock top plate, 3 ring clevis and a upper top plate spacer and you have as much lift and cheaper

Oh to make you feel real good you are only about an inch over stock height

Unfortunetly, I only had the daystar plates! I guess its .75" Rusty's for me! I just wish I would have found this out before install and, before I purchased the OEM bottom Iso's.:(:(:(

at least the Rusty's spacers are only like $35 shipped, and you'll have a pretty nice lift after including those!

I would like to see a picture of your clevis at the shock, are they the same on both sides I have leveled a lot of them out by adjusting the clevis at the lower shock mount. I know a lot of people here know how to mount the clevis to the shock and not to let them slip down but I just did one last week and the left and right ride height was off. I also had one where both clevis was sitting right on the shock ring and it lowered the frontend a lot. Just somthing you might want to check.

Thanks for the offer TWACK but, I think I'll just get the Rusty's!;)
Well, I did quite a bit of research before the job...at least I thought. That's how I got the job done!:D My original intension was not a DIY Frankie, I simple wanted the daystar crap out. If I had the OEM strut plates things would have worked out, but since I have daystar, might as well do the Rusty's now. Seems more logical! And to be honest, in all my reading, I never came across a thread about, 'using daystar plates without a spacer' issue. I guess I just wasn't looking in the right places.
Porkchop, the clevis IS all the way against the shock ring. I'll remember what you said when I rebuild these F#$%* things. Thanks eveyone!
