I'm a bit late to the party - or this forum at least. I own a 2003 Jeep Liberty Limited. I bought it new and still own it with only 98K on the odometer. Had a '94 Ford Explorer Limited that I loved the interior appointments, but the 4WD was whack. Got stuck off the shoulder of the road after a recent snow that dropped 4" causing me to be late to work. By that evening, I was driving my Liberty. It was a "lesser" Limited than my Explorer with regards to the creature comforts, but the 4WD in the Liberty never let me down. I really enjoyed my Liberty and continue to this day. I recently just bought a Ford Bronco 6G. And now, want to build the Jeep Liberty beyond stock. Everything is in working order (it only has 98K on the odometer), but it does show the age as it is almost 20 years old. Looking to upgrade the suspension with a lift and adding new wheels/tires. Brakes were done at 85K.

GO OME springs 2927 and 2948 rear
either Bilstein or OME shocks
teraflex front bumpstops
2 hockey pucks per side bolted down to lower spring perch for rear bumpstops
wheels stick with 7 inch wide and 4 inches of backspacing when lifted
245-75-16 tires
being where you are not much of a need to regear to 4.10s since its flat
can provide shock numbers if you are serious
Even with 98000 miles the KJs stock suspension was done by 65-70000

Sorry for the late reply. I live in St. Augustine, Florida now. My KJ was purchased in PA new back in 2003. I moved in 2007. It's been good to me, though the paint is looking weathered. It now has 99k miles on it. I was planning on the lift, wheels, tires. But life has put those plans on hold for a bit. I've just recently acquired reconditioned OEM wheels and will be throwing new tires on them. The lift will wait.

I've been enjoying my Bronco and have another on order. I'm not sure if my KJ will see that lift anytime soon. I checked out in my backyard and there is no money tree.
