Well ive finally got the new steering wheel on ,what a pig of a job ,i tried various pullers but none would fit or were to weak .In the end it was a trip to the dealers that removed it with a purpose built puller ,it took them an hour and a half but they only charged me half an hour as agreed. What a difference it makes thicker better quality and looks great . And the best bit i paid a fraction of the stealership price for it. But why oh why do they insist on a tapered steering column shaft .

Great! Now post some pictures please! If I took that steering to the USA dealership, they would go scratch their heads for half an hour.

I have never encountered a steering stem that wasn't tapered. I knew a guy that would stand outside the vehicle, hold the wheel in on hand and swing a dead-blow onto the stem to pop them off. Can only imagine how much damage to other internal parts he might have caused! I have always used a puller.

Some pics of steering wheel. How do you make them appear on this page as some other users manage to do???
http://s187.photobucket.com/albums/x72/JIMMYJ33P/

copy and paste the "IMG" code that appears below your pictures on your photobucket page. that will make them show up on here.
Like this, although you may want to upload them as 800x600 so they're not so big. (you can change the upload size right next to where you choose the pic that you want to upload)

You must be registered for see images attach

And what happened to your dash? Somebody moved your steering wheel to the wrong side!!! J/K LOL

The steering wheel is very attractive. How does it feel in the hands? I had a steering wheel cover with the bumpy grips and they got annoying really fast. It made the wheel feel a lot larger as well. The wheel you attached looks great though!!

It is thicker than the standerd wheel but it feels great in your hands a lot more comfortable .And it makes the original feel really cheap in comparison. And i think it looks much better too. Plus it was a bargain at £33 , stealership wanted £320 plus vat :)

Dealer charged me £46 inc vat to install, but its worth it unless your lucky enough to have a puller that is very similar to the one they use. I atempted it with 3 pullers but it was never gonna budge. By the way the place i got it from has walnut topped ones as well

Good Price.

Marlon, ebay has those fake wood trims. You can order from ebay. The one on the picture is true wood trim that replaces the stupid plastic ones.
To me, the silver one would match mu White speedo with silver accents inside.
