So what is the general consensus of the Staun Tyre Deflators?
Are they any good?
Are they worth the price they sell for?
Or should I just be "Cheap" and use the flat head screw driver
in my pocket knife and manually air each tire down and then
just periodically check the tires air pressure?
(Like I have always done!)
I'm a techno weenie and I like this type of gear!

I have two sets of them and I like them. It's quick easy and fast. I usually put them on first and then disconnect sway bar and other things to get ready for the day. Then just take them off. You'll just want to check them from time to time to make sure the adjustment hasn't moved on yeah but so far I haven't had any problems.

They suck the hairy sack
never worked right ,some times 12 psi some times 18 and some times 2 ,yeah flat
Currie rapid tire deflator
removes the core and holds it in place
allows you to monitor the pressure as you go
100X better

I use this with a Male quick-connector on it to give a little more meat to hold. http://www.harborfreight.com/ball-foot-air-chuck-95503.html

Clip it on to the valve stem for 45-60 seconds per tire and it will take me from 34 PSI to 20 PSI. Much less expensive, and much quicker and less tedious than the good ol' screwdriver method.

In theory, you could add an in-line pressure gauge too so you did not have to stop and check as it deflated.

Have a $10 Princess Auto tire inflator for compressor. Just pull the trigger and press the release at the same time and instant air-down. Has a gauge too so you know how far to go.

But Staun looks cooler by far and my made in China special doesn't look like it'd survive a drop.

that is kind of slow
the core puller thing from Currie takes a 32 X 11.5 R15 from 28ish
to 12ish in 30 seconds give or take
and 20psi is not nearly low ,when you are talking off road
