Stock UCA maxed out

I'm installing the OME/Bilstein lift seems like stock UCA maxes out and touches the coilover. Is this expected?

I believe if you go over 3" lift it will max out I've only done 2" and it ok

It appears that you won't have any room between the spring and UCA but once you put the tire on it'll give it enough of a gap
It's just because everything is dropped down that the UCA is so close
I'm at 3 1/4" and have plenty of room

What all are you using ? As far as springs or clevis or top plate etc
When drooped down like that it will be close but depending on what you are using will determine if you need JBA UCAs

Add top plate and one conduit nut on the clevis. OME 927 and bilsteins

Well I mean if you have a loose BJ or it's old and dry then yea it'll give out
It's just like any other BJ on a vehicle especially when they'll be at an increased angle
But like mine for example looked brand new when I lifted mine which is why I'm not getting JBAs

Yes if you have a loose ball joint need to fix that ASAP
But when drooped down like that they all look the same

When lifted up higher of course they will will contact the spring, only way around it is to have a bumpstop something like the Frankenlift uses

Basically it's a non-issue unless you are jumping the KJ and then minor spring contact will probably be the least of the worries

A bumpstop between the UCA and the spring, like a lateral bumpstop? Got a picture of that maybe?

No, I believe he means a bumpstop on the shock inside the spring to prevent the axle from dropping low enough to make the spring contact the UCA
But don't quote me as I'm not sure what the Frankenlift has on it

No thats not what it is they have an actual bumpstop on the lower iso. I'll post a picture later

this is the parts on a Frankenlit the part circled is the lower iso and the part that sticks out is a bumpstop for lack of a better name
I ran thses parts with not common OME springs to make my own Muddified Frankenlift

That was the only way I was thinking to have a bumpstop attached to the coil over but good idea

Now since the photo has been up for a while , I was doing a test.
That part with the protrusion is actually the top iso . Wanted to see if anyone caught it or even knew what they were looking at.
With anything there are good and bad issues with it but its does do what it is suppose to

( I know I was right since I've installed them and also ran them on mine)
