Sub woofer help.

Im trying to get a sub in my KJ, and I have an after market cd player, just wanted to know if I need an amp for the sub, or could I use the the after market deck setting for that? Thanks.

You need the amplifier. The head unit's preamp outputs (the RCA jacks) don't supply the voltage or amperage needed to run any speaker by itself, especially a subwoofer.

get an amp. then a 750 rms kicker L7. just one... you only need one...
