I was talking to one of my neighbours who asking what I was going to do to my KJ (He owns two Cherokees) and the topic turned to wheels and I told him I'd really like to have the factory six spoke alloy wheels Teflon coated.
He gave me a name to a company in my home town who does this!
So, I fired off an email a few minutes ago.
I'll have to wait and see what they have to say and weather they will even take on the task of doing a set of five wheels. Or if the price is reasonable.
If not, then I'll be looking at American Racing Chamber wheels.

But in the mean time, I think that the factory six spoke alloy wheels would look pretty slick (No pun intended!;) ) with a dark gray/ black Teflon coating on them.

I agree - the finish is already starting to get crappy on my OEM wheels. I think when it gets bad enough, I'll paint them gunmetal. It'd look great with the Jeep Green.

If I manage to find a cheap set of MOAB's, I'll get them powdercoated gunmetal before I swap tires over.

Those wheels look choice and even better in person!
Then there is this one:

htm
And the last one that I am considering:
http://www.americanracingwheelsinfo.com/American_Racing_Teflon_Thug.htm

It's going to be a difficult choice between these three styles!

Cheers

Ryan, I would say definitely go with the Chamber if funds allow I think it looks better than both the Mojave and the Thug. The Thug would be my second choice but I absolutely hate any wheel styled like the Mojave including Cragar Soft 8's. Wheels are meant to be spoked not have circles cut in them! lol Just my 2 cents tho...
