Boy your lasted longer then mine, mine lasted only 3 miles.

You didn't even warm them up.....

Took mine through the first winter and they were bad in the snow. 2 plugs from rocks off road and one from a large nail I picked up on the road somewhere and off they came. Had them on for around 15,000 miles or so. I don't know how I standed them that long.

Mine lasted 18,000 before a defect in the tyre wall meant replacement was needed! (just been done:)). They were down to about 4mm of tread, so I'd have been replacing them soon anyway. The originals were Goodyear SR 235/70/R16, and they weren't bad - not brilliant, but not bad. I believe though that we may have a different compound in Europe than you do.

The main dealer told me that that the SR was no longer available (no problem, I didn't want them anyway) but offered me another Goodyear (can't recall which) at £149.50 each! I went with General Grabber AT2s from a specialist tyre place at £87.50 each fitted and balanced. Total bill incl tax was £437!! That has kyboshed my spending plan for a couple of months!!

We went to a local store 3 wks ago and the guy said "you've got 10-12k left." I'm lookin at the guy like he is on crack, reason being is that we were on the verg of hitting the ware bars. Well we get back from my block leave (vacation) and one of the tires was flat. Piece of something sliced the middle tread line,...through the ware bar. We got Yoko. Geolanders HTS on the Liberty now, bout an inch wider and are so far great. We only got bout 200 miles on them and no complaints. :D

I took a chance and went with nokian vatiivas, they are fine tires but they don't do extreme temperature changes too well.. They like cold, rain, snow, sleet, lose surface... that much I can tell you.
