Alright, passenger speaker recently bit the dust and the only thing thats really left is to upgrade the front speakers and possibly add an amp for the door speakers.

To mount the new tweeters in the dash I would just have to wait till I started working on it to see what would be the best way to go about it. This is the only thread I could find on mounting tweeters but I think there are others. Just dont know where they are.

Ive got MTX speakers in the rear doors so I would need to check the watts and ohms on those but Im sure they are common 4ohm speakers.

Here is the amp I was thinking about getting. Ive always been partial to Pioneer. No reason really, just how I am.

Some possible speaker choices:

Head unit has recently started skipping for unknow reasons and the volume knob intermitintly doenst work so its about time to be replaced. It doesnt play mp3's and doesnt have an input jack so its time to go. Not to sure what to replace it with.

Still shopping around for HU's. Ill probably upgrade that first then move to the components and a 4 channel amp. Leaning towards the Pioneer 710BT. Love the blue tooth and the two usb ports in the back. Also like the aux input in the back and the Steering wheel control input in the back. Figured there would be more input on this??

Blake - make sure you look at the HU in person. I was 100% sure I wanted a pioneer, but I stopped in at Best Buy just to see what it looked like.

The new pioneer line just looks absolutely cheap and horrible in my opinion.

I am loving the JVC line (either HDR50 or KD300), but I don't like they have don't have any preset buttons. Seems that the new trend is to ditch the preset buttons.

Yeah, I cant figure out why the preset buttons are disappearing. And Ill check out best buy or another electronics store before buying it. Im not sure if bestbuy would have that one though. Im sure they are nice and over priced though!
