Just bought a 2004 Liberty 3.7 4x4 for our granddaughter. First need is two new rear tires and I know nothing about the handling of the Liberty, thus the question. The OEM recommended size is 215/75R16, the two current rear are 225/70R16, the two current fronts are 225/60R16. Should we match the OEM size, the two current front size or match what is currently on the rear? When all are eventually replaced we will be matching all one size.
Thanks for the help
George

If you are going to end up replacing them all I would stick with the OEM size to get the best handling and fuel economy. Just my personal opinion.

You could get 2 to match 225/70r16 (same exact tires of course) to save money, but how much tread life is left on them?

And my god the previous owner needs to stop owning vehicles. 2 different sizes on 4x4 whats wrong with that person

Really need to replace all 4 , same size, same tread etc. I can only imagine how it must handle now. As fas as size 235 -70-16 was an optional size as well , its what came on my 04 when i bought it new

Make sure you do not put it into 4 WD until you have all same sized tires on it
