tires for my kj

I am new to jeep ownership and am curious and confused when it comes to wheels and tire size right now im on 225/75-16 tires and want to go up in size any help is appreciated thank you.

How much are you sagged? (Measure from the bottom of the fender flare to the center of the hub on each wheel.)

i measured the sag on the wheels and i measured 17 1/2" on the front and 18 1/2" on the back

Very sagged, I wouldn't go any bigger than stock

i measured the sag on the wheels and i measured 17 1/2" on the front and 18 1/2" on the back

You are 1.5 inches lower than new stock height in front
Bet its rides really bad right now
Pretty common since the springs are very weak from the get go on these , then give them a few years and a few miles and then you have where you are sitting now

^ Wow.. that's worse than my KJ. Bud, you need to replace the springs and shocks/struts before you jump up in tire sizes for sure.

Stock rated shocks wont cost much...

BUT since you know you got suspension problem anyway, why not consider ome/bilsteins?
