Thinking about towing a small uhaul trailer m 4 x 8. Minimum weight inside, 4 winter tires and a few light things. 2008 liberty can handle this?? Let me know. Thanks

Sure. Stay out of overdrive.

I've towed a 16' enclosed trailer. CRD tow rating is 5000# but the trailer wasn't near that. The v6 is rated for less but it should be fine.

Just be aware you will likely be hearing a LOT of road noise coming from the trailer. I've had to tow a 12ft U-Haul, and it was noisy, but the loudest experience was towing a dolly with my kids roommates Hyundai (overheated on a road trip - Dad to the rescue...) and I swore it was going to tear loose from all the road noise. Had zero issues towing the 3700lbs combined weight, though.
