About a month ago my turns stopped working. Worked one day, didnt the next morning. Flasher still worked so I assumed it wasn't a fuse issue. Wound up getting an oem fog light kit (to replace multifunction switch). No dice.

Looked at the fuses finally when I noticed my rear defroster wasn't working... Replaced the fuse and everything worked until I put the car in reverse. Fuse popped again. Replaced the reverse switch (originally installed in January) and all seemed well. But the fuse is still popping at random intervals.

This may be related, whenever the engine moves (from deccelerating in low gear), my "part time" light flickers on the dash. I can only assume their is a frayed wire somewhere that causes that to happen, and im hoping this is the same location that is causing me an issue with the defroster fuse.

What im wondering is where is this harness located and what path should it travel? Pretty sure whoever replaced the clutch before I purchased the jeep did not re secure any harnesses properly. I really appreciate the help.

I don't know about the fuse blowing, but the 'Part Time' light flicker is probably do to either an out-of-adjustment position switch or worn transmission/engine mounts allowing the assembly to rotate enough to trip the switch momentarily.

Sounds like multiple electrical problems/grounds/connectors fun= Not.
Get a hold of a Factory Service manual 8W section has electrical. link: Index of /manuals/Jeep/KJ
I have no idea why you put in it reverse and fuse blows is the relay good?
Take a look at the schematic for the defogger dedicated circuit for it..

any prayer that replacing the rear defogger relay would solve my issue? Only other thing I see attached to the circuit before the actual defogger is the hazard switch.
