In my 2005 Jeep Liberty I recently put a Kenwood 12 inch sub under the backseat. Which is unheard of and pretty sweet, at least I think. I moved the jack from the passenger side to the driver's side and put the sub where the jack was. I built a custum box out of mdf and bolted it in. It actually sounds pretty good except the actual cusions of the back seat vibrating a lot. I put dynamat extreme on all of the metal under the seat and tried to put it on the cusion right above the sub where it vibrates most. But the dynamat didn't do much on the cusion and didn't stick too well and fell off after about 30 min of playing the sub. Even if I could get the dynamat to stay on the underside of the seat it still vibrates so I was wondering is anyone had any suggestions to stop the back seat from vibrating.

The actual cusion of the seat.

The seats on an 05 should not be loose, I wonder if its a defect. Mine are very tight and dont make noise if I shake them.

If you can locate where the metal/plastic is contacting metal/plastic, then take some foam or cushiony material and tuck it in between the contact points, this should eliminate any contact noise.

Or you could just tighten whatever is loose that is giving your seat that movement.
