hi every one ----was wondering where i can go to find out vin codes and which transfer case.gearing ect---any help would be greatly appreciated

What year KJ do you have? What engine do you have? And how many positions are on your t-case shifter?

Just these 3 things and I can tell you what you have.

You have 3.73 gears(D30A front diff and the 8.25 rear diff) if you have the auto ******(42RLE) but if you have the 6-speed manual ****** you have 3.55 gears,you have the 231 command-trac t-case.

Go to a Jeep dealer and they should be able to get the build sheet.

Also you can get some pretty good vehicle specs on cars.com for any vehicle.

Go in to the research used vehicle section and put in your year and make and model and it will give you pages of standard and optional equipment including gear ratio specs etc.
