That's Warren, Michigan and I've seen it in person a few times. Never with an actual K9 in it though. Been a while since I last saw it, it has probably been replaced by now.

I had to really look for that picture. I couldn't find much text to go with it. Around here Libertys are used by Baltimore City Police and Maryland Transportation Authority. (Toll Facilities Police) I wonder if there are any equipment differences.

While browsing Allpar, I noticed that Jeep is dropping the manual transmission in the Libertys for 2009.

Sterling Heights (city on the north side of Warren, they border one another) has a BADASS looking Charger police car. All black with the black ram bar and all the lights are in the grill and inside the car. Looks downright mean.

As for Jeeps in police use, it would be cool if there is an "Interceptor" 3.7 with more HP but I doubt it. I wonder if they have a bigger transmission cooler? They probably don't need to do anything with engine cooling, suspension or brakes as it is.

They have Charger Georgia State Patrols here and man do they look mean. Complete with bullbar on front. Next time I see one, Ill stop and see if i can get a pic to post.
