Hey guys,
So, no squirt squirt...
Checked fuses. #22 in car, and all the ones under hood. Nothing blown.
Its a brand new pump so thats not it.
Also tried two different multi-function switches, neither one worked.

I used a test light, and it appears no power going to the motor.

Im all out of ideas, and my windshield is really getting dirty.

Use your test light or DVOM, probe the output wire from the MF switch.... if nothing, probe the 12v input wire.. if you have voltage there, multi-function switch(es) are bad.

If no voltage on the input to switch, keep going back... power at the fuse? If so, but it's not reaching the switch, broken wire or bad junction leading to the switch. If no power at the fuse spot, you can keep tracing the feed wire back to it's source and find the short.

Worst case in that scenario is that I'd move the hot wire feeding the switch to a new fuse spot and test further.

Is the pump trying to pump but just not pushing fluid? I had this and I had to removed the bottle and clean it - there was some funky slime that had built up and was plugging the little filter before the pump. I tried to just clean the filter but found that the gunk was waaay more prevalent than I thought and only got 2 uses before it clogged again. Easy enough to remove the bottle and wash the crap out of it.

nevermind... saw the 'no power' thing. it's could be a bad wire - maybe one pulled out of the harness a bit?

What year/model is your jeep?

Looking at the 2005 KJ wiring diagrams you need to look at Fuse #32 on the fuse panel inside the cabin.

Also should be Ground on the Black wire on pin #8 on connector C1 on the Multifunction switch...add a tempory splice to this wire to chassis if needs be.

If you do not come right I can direct you to the Service Manuals/Wiring diagram for your year KJ!

JasonJ has a good suggestion here.....briefly touch +12 volts directly across the pump motor leads. I say "briefly" because if the motor is shorted out it may be blowing the fuse in normal use. The motor should run in one direction with power attached and in the opposite direction if you swap the positive and negative leads over. In normal use this is how the pump works....runs in one direction to spray front screen and reverses direction to spray the rear window with some valves helping the directional flow of the water.

Here is the wiring diagram for the 2002 KJ....the usual culprits are the fuse blown, faulty motor or faulty Multifunction Switch.
