wheel spacers/adapters?

thinking about installing 1.25" wheel adapters to give it a wider stance and fill up the wheel wells. i haven't seen too much talk about it. are there any adverse effects?

I bought the Cragar soft 8 black rims which are the exact same size, but in the 4" backspace. Stock backspacing is at 5.5" so I would have the equivalent of 1.5"spacers. I will have them put on tomorrow and get back to you.

Well the 16x7 4"backspace and 16x8 5" backspace are both the same distace on the outside of the rim. So does that mean mine are going to rub also jeepjeep?

I guess that also depends on your tire size and what lift you have on your vehicle. If any.

It all depends on the size of the tire. As you can see in my sig, I have the 255/70's and they rub purty bad when at full flex. If it was flexed and I was moving alot then it would tare the fender off.
