OK, if this picture works explain something to me...

First whats the point? If you look at the picture you will notice that the tent door is on the same side as the way the gate opens. So are you going to have the tailgate, tire and all inside the tent? The description the ad gives is that the tent allows you to be able use the cargo area as a sleeping area or handy storage area.. Um, yeah with the back seats down I think my 2 year old could sleep back there!

Plus, and this is my opinion. We are a tent camping family and go at least 3 times a month...Why would I want to set up my tent around the tail end of my vehicle? I want to set up my tent and still have the vehicle to go trail riding! I don't want to have to un hitch the tent first! Then hitch er back up to sleep.. Just give me my Coleman montana!

Yup, I agree!
Kind of useless having a tent that you have to unhook from a vehicle!
I'll stick to my assortment of North Face and Sierra Designs tents.

you guys are missing the point. when it gets cold in the tent, just crank the engine and use the exhaust as a heater right inside the tent... no more cold.

If you put a tube on the exhaust pipe and channel it out to the front then You could use the heat..

To be honest, my Jeep has never been camping. I'm more of a day trip type of guy....


I'd camp more if it wasn't so hot......and nowhere near me has any 4x4 trails.

Breathing can be good, Looking to get a RTT this summer. Do like a seperate teny though if we choose to go somewhere with the Kj.

the stock jeep tent had a side room to connect to the tailgate, i liked the function i could leave the cooler and other important stuff i didnt want to move in the back

Where we camp we have bears..So, I usually have the Jeep escape pod ready to go fast if need be.. Would be kinda funny jumpin in the Jeep and taking off draggin the tent behind us..If it were not for the kiddes I wouldn't be so quick as to run..I'm more of a shoot first ask questions later kinda guy! But, don't get me wrong if I cannot get my kids to safety then the bear will DIE!

Sorry to you tree huggers out there, but if that bear or tree for that matter comes after me its goin down!
