Yeah but about 12" father inward the "frame rails" still hang down father then rock rails on the market today.

Valid point. I've been looking at their other skid guards...doesnt seem as durable looking as the skid row though.

Also been contemplating the ARB or their Guard...Not really sure I'd be able to put the ARB to good use like it would need haha

The guard looks pretty sturdy, I'm just a little concerned about the tubes that extend to each side...not really much there. I plan on cutting my bumper anyhow so i won't need the protection down by the fog lights

They are real strong, I have one ( Matrix) sitting here on the work bench right now
very strong mounting points, well built for sure
OH and the same one mounts to the WK/KJ etc all the same.

If both you and tjkj say they are good, then that's probably what I'm going to end up getting in the next couple months haha. ARB is a little extreme for my uses.....as much as id love one. I just wish the price for the 4xguard wasnt so dam high!

Pretty sure his bumper cutting has nothing to do with the side rails.

These guards are really nice looking. I like how they are flush with the body.

I don't see the added value of these 4XGuards sliders compared to the Rock Lizard Skinks or Super Skinks!
JBA would probably sell more if the price was more competitive with the other KJ/KK sliders on the market.
But what do I know...
I only have 20 years experience in specialty retail goods!
