Well my 07 with 216k doesn't crank...
Went to start it up after a trip to the store and it cranked for a second then nothing...got it towed home and used the remote start and climbed underneath and put my hands on the starter and tried starting it...I can feel some clicking sensations and hear some noises but that's about it....what do you think bad starter?...it seems like the starter is getting juice but just won't turn the engine over..thanks!

Clicking on the starter but no crank will be either bad starter or bad battery, check the voltage on the battery or turn the lights on and see if they die when you try to start.

I tried starting it and it has no effect on the headlights..they are nice and bright...the battery is less than a year old.....I got the bottom starter bolt out but how do you get the top one out?...I can't get a ratchet on it because of the brake or gas line tubing there..I can get a wrench on it but can move it because the exhaust is in the way.02 sensors in the way too.Do I need a swivel socket or what?..is that gas line or whatever have any flexibility to it..can I manipulate it some?? discouraging

Can't speak from experience on that, I have a CRD, you may have to drop the downpipe to access it if you don't have the tools to get onto the bolts.
