Hello,
I bought a 2003 jeep jk 2.8 crd that would not start and it still does not start.
Before selling it the seller could not get it to start, he changed all the sensors, the bcm, the pcm and finally the key, the neiman and the skim.
I have error codes:
P0070
P0190
P0130
P0340
P0520
P1130
P1131
P1511
P1685
With all this, I have enough to do but I like challenges.
Excuse me, my English is bad and I use a translator for communicate...

First clear all the codes, with everything that's been done there is no way to tell if they are current or not, then try to start it and rescan to see what comes up.

Ok thanks, I'm waiting for a scanner that I ordered online.
I would come and do a feetback.

Arrrrggghhhh...
My scanner is not pulling codes from the dashboard.
But it did pull new codes that it found.
P0051,
P0253,
P0808,
U2200,
P0100,
C2400.

Those are very odd codes, clear the list and try again.

Hello all,
Thank you for your answers.
The ECU, skim and key have been changed, everything works perfectly.
I think I don't have the best scanner.

Possibly your scanner is the problem, however the symptoms you are describing sound like a fault on the BUS or a module plugged into it pulling it down. Have you checked all the fuses?

Yes I changed the interior fuse box.
The only permanent code is P0253, I think the CP3 pump solenoid is faulty.

That's a good call, probably the original fault that the previous owner missed!

With the engine not running? No mine is silent, on shutdown there is a hiss/buzz from the solenoid on the left side dumping vacuum.

Have you tried using a little bit of starting fluid? It would be interesting to see if it fires.

Yes i using start pilot but without effect on startup.
I'm thinking shifted timing or broken rocker arms.
I ordered This on Amazon.

No it's not I'm afraid, there was an independent garage with one but they finished in Covid.
There are after market systems but they aren't cheap!
I have a friend with a decent Snapon scanner that does just about everything, so a decent garage should be able to help you.
