AngriezJeep
O noes! Jeep haz major ANGRIEZ!!1
This past Thursday, November 21st, I was driving to a dinner date. The was a detour due to an accident, so I ŵent down a side street.
I was struck by someone who ran a stop sign.
The Angriez jeep is pretty messed up.
They slid along the drivers side and hit the front of the rear wheel.
And that popped the driveshaft out if it's fitting
And the hit spun me about 90 degrees, which did this:
This is the damage to the rear drivetrain:
You can see that it pushed the axle back. That broke one the swingarms(?) And probably tweaked the other.
I called his insurance today to get the ball rolling.
The Reality:
They are probably going to write it off. It's a jeep with a salvage title. The cost to repair is likely to exceed what it's worth.
I am rather sad. I loved this jeep, warts and all. It was easy to work on, the right size to get around town, but had some genuine off road ability.
I'll post updates info as I get it.
