I ' need to change the left inner rod of mine liberty Kj 2007 2.8 crd , on the parts diagram the item number is 05189417AA but all spare store indicates it as a spare part for KK and not KJ but the diagram parts is official jeep and it indicates that part number , as well the spare store indicates another part number for KJ 52128517AA .
I've seen that there is a difference the first has M24 x1.5 #M 16x1,5 the second has M18 x 1.5 #M16x 1,5 Moog part is EV 800416 with the first M24 ecc wich is the correct one the M24 or M18 ?

Many greatings for your help ......

I'm not sure how easy or difficult they are to change on their own.

I picked up a spare used steering rack and PS pump just in case. My rack had started leaking, but stopped before I got to changing it.

I have taken both types they are very cheap , I'll tell if it's difficult or not on my own changing

My issue is a random " toc " on the left side when going over holes in the street but not ever , I 've picked up the car and find a small gap scrolling the left wheel , gap that isn't in the right wheel and all the others ball joints have no issues, checked and are quite new , so before to think changing the steering rack I think it may be the inner rod ( I hope .....)

Hi to all , today I ' ve changed the inner rod , now is official ! Kj 2.8 CRD model year 2006-2007 fit the M18 x 1.5 the others fit the M24 , so the latest Kj have the inner rod and probably have the KK rack steering gear
