Will probably get one from Rock Auto and they have name brands like Sachs, Luk, Exedy and Valeo from $140 to twice that much. Has anyone used any one of those? Where did the clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing come from? Would prefer from N. American or the EU and don't want anything from China. Does this truck use a pilot bearing?

I've never pulled one of them apart but I'd guess it will have a pilot bearing, I haven't ever seen a gearbox that didn't use one to support the mainshaft. The name brands are all good. Check if it has a duel mass flywheel too, they usually need doing along with the clutch.

Yes pilot bearing. Get the version with the whole outer 'puck' included. It's easier to install without damage.

I went with an AMS automotive clutch the first time, and M-pact the second. The original nor AMS ever wore out. I had transmission problems and it just seemed foolish to re&re without renewing the clutch.
