It’s at the front, it looks like the engine guard that then has a cut out for the CV Boot on the drivers side wheel

I’m not to sure, is this something the garage would have done? Yes I’ve unloaded some pictures. To be honest I’m not too sure what I was looking at or needed to see or expected to see.

These have been recently replaced, you cannot hear the noise after the caravan is unhitched, also it still happens when the brakes are applied.

Thank you, will do. I just wanted to eliminate as much as I could but that’s proving hard to do

One other thing to add once we went through a large puddle/flood it stopped for about 5/10 minutes. Almost like it cooled down and then heated up again. Just want to know what to suggest to the local garage

But with extra torque would this maybe contribute to it? I saw another online video of someone with the same noise as ours that was the transfer case. This isn’t a rubbing, it’s a definite grinding metal noise and sounds like a rotation noise.

Could it also be coming from the transfer case? Although driven in 2wd could this possibly be grinding?

Possibly as the car was full as well as the weight of the caravan, would this make a grinding noise that sounds like metal on metal but also sounding like a rotation motion? Something I’ll check tomorrow? Anywhere in particular?
