Broke in my new (used) trailer by picking up a ton of wood pellets. I was leery of overloading it so I stuck about a third of them in the back of the Jeep. Fifty 40# bags, roughly 36 bags in the trailer and the other 14 in the back of the Jeep. Towed/hauled it all a dozen miles home with some...- profdlp

There is a white sticker on the axle, though it looks like half the printing on it has been worn away. I can't find any kind of permanent plate on there which might tell me more. Replaced all the light wiring on my trailer. The man I bought it from was a really nice guy but he was no electrician. (Neither am I, but I worked for one for four years and he would holler at us if we didn't do it "right".)- profdlp

Now I will have to go look, since I am not sure. Someone should have warned me about trailers. It's almost as bad as the Jeep itself - every time I look at it I think of something new I ought to do. I am going to end up with Abraham Lincoln's axe if I am not careful. :rolleyes:- profdlp

My long term plan (should I both win the lottery and stumble across the Fountain Of Youth) is to upgrade to a larger trailer at some point. Then this one will either become a tiny teardrop or the other one will become a hillbilly camper. Far Out!- profdlp

If you are having water pump problems I would have a good look at your coolant. Make sure you stick with HOAT. Not OAT, not anything else, even if it claims to be universal. Anything but HOAT will sludge up on you and create all sorts of grief.- profdlp
