Installed Iron Rock Rear UCA today.

Unless you're doing some extreme lift you likely need to bottom out the upper control arm (short as possible) these were originally designed for a slightly longer vehicle. I'm also running the IRO uca but still running stock lower with about a 3.5 inch lift.

    REGEARING for larger tires/

This is correct, I'll add that the rear is most likely a chrysler 8.25 which is a much more common axle which makes parts more available and less expensive. On the other hand the jeep liberty is the only vehicle I'm aware of that uses the dana 30a. Many parts are the same as other axles...

    REGEARING for larger tires/

I wasn't trying to give you a hard time, hope I didn't come across as such. The price you're asking is more than reasonable especially for new. Finding these gears for these things is like unicorn hunting.

    REGEARING for larger tires/

The 4.10 ring and pinion is unique to the kj dana 30a which makes it expensive if it can be found. I ended up driving 4+ hours to get one from a wrecking yard. Finding a donor vehicle is most certainly the most cost effective approach if you can find one.

What did you do to your jeep today?

I've got a trailer made from the bed, frame and axle of an 80s GMC. The tongue is short and the height is good, makes for an awesome multi use trailer behind the jeep.

Possible broken top mount on new lift? Please help

If it came pre-assembled without washer you should seek a refund or replacement and check the other one while you're at it.

    Gear Swap

I believe 4:10 is the largest (numerically) ratio that can be put into the 30a. Even if you could find a new one the price would likely cause you to p**p yourself. Do some junkyard searching and pickup an intact front diff you'll save many hundreds of dollars not to mention paying someone to...

Possible broken top mount on new lift? Please help

Me thinks the kj bush is molded into the mount, (see picture I linked above) at least it sure seemed to be every time I had mine apart. And yes, the washer is pretty big so it doesn't pull through.

Possible broken top mount on new lift? Please help

That a bushing with steel sleeve through the center where the shaft passes through. I can see in you pictures where it looks like the sleeve pulled out taking some rubber with it. A thick wide washer would not have pulled through the bushing.

    Actual downsides to spacer lift

With the ifs you are limited in movement much beyond factory. Ome with no extra clevis or top plate spacers are still within factory suspension parameters just riding higher. You can squeak out a bit more with the above mentioned clevis and top plate but not much. With a spacer lift on top of...

Possible broken top mount on new lift? Please help

Should be a large washer on top of mount which would prevent shock pulling through

Pretty sure I read somewhere that the ome and oem shocks are designed with internal bump stops for top out. Most shocks are not.

Berrymans B-12 Chemtool fuel injector cleaner- destroyed engine?

I've used that product plenty of times, about yearly. In fact I had it clear a misfire code that has not returned in years, was probably a dirty fuel injector. I agree with the above. If engine was dirty and computer had adjusted for it and now all that filth is breaking loose clogging this and...
