Got this beast of a roof platform (Rival) installed. Tomorrow I'll start fitting the ARB awning and other accoutrements. Next weekend, weather permitting the Pedders and AEV suspension and steering components go in. -

Radiator cap too much pressure
I'd put money you have air in the system. Pay the pros to do a complete flush. If problem persists after that time to start leak hunting with fluorescein and a UV flashlight.- Johnny O

Power steering whine?
What color is the fluid? I can confirm this is a good method. I did something similar on Bert, though I used a drill pump and and quite a few bottles of juice to flush the system out.- Johnny O

I've read of folks using a bottle jack to get the extra inch to slide in the springs for the smaller lifts. AEV makes some geometry correction brackets for the 2.5" lift range that by accounts are the way to go if you notice issues... -

Pedders Heavy suspension gets here today. Ordered an AEV steering damper. Of course parts arriving triggers a few days of rain, so no clue when it is going in. Rival USA has discontinued their JL/JT flat roof racks and has them seriously discounted. Additionally they are literally giving away... -

Added the flares from the Extreme Recon Package. These should be standard equipment on the JL Rubicon. Swapped out the lousy flaps I had for Rally Armor, which is the exact same material as the stupidly overpriced RokBloks and other price gouging brands. -

Detailed the heck out of Khan. Preventative maintenance. Lots of chips to touch up. Khan has the Wrangler hinge paint-rot. Gonna have to pull em all and repaint.
