    I just had an idea. I might make a fold-down shelf that attaches inside the swing gate. Hinges at the bottom, and jack chain or cord to support it.

    If mine didn’t have such a bad tick, I’d be fixing the rockers as you plan on doing. Unfortunately, I think mine are further gone than yours.

    I’m so glad ducking isn’t a thing in my neck of the woods. It reminds me of a post on FB, though. A girl ducked this guy’s jeep, and she went into the store. On her return, she was met with the same duck back on her jeep, only it had been decapitated :D

    I had a good time fishing. The “wheeling” was subpar. The old forest roads are a lot nicer than I remember. I pulled off on my way out to make a quick ramen noodle lunch.

    I know if you’re in 4 Low, you can start the engine without pushing the clutch it. I’m guessing that’s what the “transmission range” block is in the upper diagram. I highly doubt my haynes book will show anything different, but I will look.

    I’ll keep that in mind, Sota. I went to the range and then tried a couple forest roads near it. I got a little muddy, but nothing crazy. Mostly, the roads were just lopey. Tomorrow, I’m going fishing, and I might find some more entertaining roads.

    Almost rolled it… I was returning my trailer to the back garage. I went and picked up my four wheeler (2003 Honda Rincon 650) from my parents’ house. It towed just fine.     They’ll have to rebalance everything anyways, and I don’t have time to do it this week or next. I got the manager to write it out on my tire slip, so it should be good.

    Tires are on! However, the guy didn’t pay attention to my sheet and installed the tires white letter out… Oh well. They will get swapped around when I go back for a balance and rotate.

    Not jeep related, and I imagine some of you will know, and my niece wants to know, what is this? It’s like an armored worm.

    I did a little off roading this morning… I was zoned out while driving, snapped out of it as I was about 100’ before my turn, locked up the brakes, and went around the outside of the crossing’s stop sign. My wife was driving a ways behind me and said it’s the funniest thing she’s seen all week!

Stuck I tried to follow some experienced Jeepers through the mud and ended up slipping off the road. So much for "street tires".
