The "e-brake" or "Handbrake: has a small contact up near the Lever....at least that is how it works on my 2002 Export CRD.
You have to remove the console surrounding the Handbrake Lever to locate the switch.;)

Ok to find location of Connector C106:
In 2003 Jeep KJ Service Manual:
Section 8W Table Of Contents tells you to go to 8W-91-1.
8W-91-1 tells you: C106 Color is Black.
Location Left Front Side of Engine Compartment Fig. 29.

Try and find a Multifunction switch at a Breaker yard...one from a Jeep with or without Foglights will work!
