Traction only helps with acceleration and steering, get on the brakes hard in slippery conditions and the best tires don't help a lot. I had Hankook Dynapro tires for a few years and I could go through 12 inches of snow but one day a dummy decided to switch into the lane I was in and slow down...
I think that is what I put in my 2006 after a changed the radiator a couple years ago. I didn't see any strange sludge when I changed the water pump a month or so ago. I figured I better change it before it goes bad and I am close to 200k miles
Pick up 2 gallon of Zerex G05 non diluted at the store. I just drained my 2006 to replace water pump and didn't quite get 1 gallon of zerex and one gallon of water in. My radiator cracked on the drivers side a couple years ago. I have seen ones easier to replace
I installed a new water pump on the 06 Renegade. I haven't seen too many water pumps survive 180k miles so I figured on doing it before it fails. Took about an hour as the tensioner also had to be removed to remove a few bolts
The nuts can get rusted from the inside and be oversized, a bunch on my KJ got that way, so I ordered a set on Amazon. My nephews 2015 Ford Focus was worse, so I replaced those too, don't remember what socket was needed as the 3/4" wouldn't fit, may have needed 19 or 20 mm
And if the original problem of the part inside of the gas tank isn't removed, a problem filling at full pump volume might be an issue at some time in the future
On my Liberty, it looks like a 3 year old could change the water pump as it just has the electric fan. The thermostat is a project I don't like as it is connected to the lower hose
I got the volume working on my 06 radio thanks to https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/fixing-a-common-factory-radio-problem-bad-volume-control.67592/
Too bad the problem with the driver door speaker is caused by the magnet falling off
