Based upon your information: possible issue #3...
Even after the re & re, the KJ shield still leaked. I ran a fine bead of clear GE silicone along the the top edge, and down both sides & leak then finally stopped.
I hope the KK windshield is more co-operative. ;)
If you have any movement in the glass by pressing on it, that is unacceptable.
This can lead to leaks and the 3M windshield urethane is rated down to -70.
Temporarily, you could get the jeep into a warm space and run a fine bead of GE silicone around the top edge.

The 2004 was probably the best year as it did not suffer from window regulator issues.
Have you obtained the build sheet for your Jeep?
If it has the Trac Loc rear differential, it will require the 4 oz bottle of Mopar friction...
Drained battery, ensure it is a good load tested battery.
For reset, try removing both battery cables away from battery & tape both cables together for 45 minutes.

Sorry to hear that you have to replace the cable at this time of year.
Jeep's definitely do not like to sit for a year.
You have to start, shift & drive them, otherwise problems like this may arise.

I see that it is a 4 pin connector. What color is the main wire into the connector?

Keep in mind this is a pressurized system.
If you leave it running then open the gas cap, you are asking for a trouble code.

It's really a shame that the OEM stamped steel braking plates were not galvanized (zinc coated)
It is definitely not cheap to replace the rear braking plates. Preventative maintenance is key, with all the salt / brine they place on winter roadways.
