As you may have seen, my Jeep has got less and less willing to start in the cold weather, I've finally got some time to have a look at it.
I started with the easy stuff, fuel prime & checked the glow plugs and relay, all OK so next step is loss of rail pressure, normally this is an injector with excessive spillback. I put my redneck test kit on to see.
Typically it's a much warmer day today as storm Bert is blowing through, the Jeep actually started up first time, amazing what difference cranking speed makes!
However the leak off test doesn't lie, No3 has about 1000% more fuel return than the other 3 injectors, just glad it's not No4, that looks like a pig to get out!
