    Front strut assembly

Those look sharp, I've been debating between this build-your-own route or getting the pair of KYB's off RockAuto for ~$230 total. How do these Bilstein's ride? What brand (or model # if you're feeling generous lol) did you go with for the shock mounts, and coil springs?

    KK cat-back exhaust options

Nice! Glad you found one. That's a good price too. Hopefully that steel construction holds up past the 2-year warranty. Glad to hear it's stock-level sound since that's what you were looking for.

    Re-painting Front Grill Insert

Haha well this went much smoother w less time between coats then the control arms I've been painting at the same time. I had used Krylon a lot helping my dad on stuff, but all I have found for sale where I live now is Rustoleum products (HD, Advance, Lowe's, etc.) which the cans say take 48...

HOW TO: Bump Stops - Front & Rear Replacement

Oh yeah no doubt. Front strut assemblies are original, not yet gotten around to that. Just measured about 18”. Pretty low? (I know you’ve posted measurements before just can’t recall)

    Re-painting Front Grill Insert

Recently asked about the grey color code for bumpers and fender flares, in the meantime I repainted the plastic black grille insert on my Sport trim. Had never used the below SEM paint products, and time will tell how it holds up, but it sprayed and went on very well and looks great! Much better...

    KK cat-back exhaust options

Sorry I replied tonight to not-the-latest post on your exhaust issue. I have the stainless Gibson - GIB-617205. I am (still LOL) the 1 and only review of it on Summit: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/gib-617205 First off, it is not the quietest. Slightly louder than stock for sure. I have a...

HOW TO: Bump Stops - Front & Rear Replacement

Happy Saturday. Seen some posts on bump stops but pictures were lacking. And YouTube only has the fronts. Here are some photos for ease for anyone in the future so you can confidently do it! Note: my Jeep is a commuter + family hauler car, no lift, and all suspension replacement has been...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Admittedly I’ve only driven twice at night w them since changing out. First off the front end looks a million times sharper w new housings lol. FYI I swapped out my nice existing Sylvania bulbs for who knows what the pair came w inside them. As for adjustment, well I’ve played around w it but...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Nice! I considered this one back around ~2017 but went w the Gibson stainless system for about $650 at the time. I sprayed it all (minus the chrome tail pipe of course) w high temp black paint to help w rust. It’s been great no issues ever since then. Hope the Magnaflow treats you just as well!

    Dark Grey Fender/Bumper Color Code?

I’m surprised a paste (is this like wax?) would last that long. Especially if it’s not paint. I came across this last night, there’s a photo review w a similar looking color Nissan bumper that seems very similar. I may pick up a can for $20 and test it out: SEM 39193 Dark Gray Bumper Coater...

    Dark Grey Fender/Bumper Color Code?

Appreciate the picture! Yours is looking good.

    Dark Grey Fender/Bumper Color Code?

I would call it a "color" now that it's had 18 years of sun fade and the front bumper looks more white than dark grey LOL. But yes I see your point of it just being the general plastic or part mold color. For some odd reason, my plastic fender flares have retained their color very well. The rear...

    Dark Grey Fender/Bumper Color Code?

Hi - Long-term project thought here, but does anyone know the matching color codes for the plastic dark grey fender flares and bumpers? I am thinking to repaint them all eventually on my 2004 KJ Sport trim. The car is the "Light Khaki Metallic Clear Coat" color, while on my build sheet it only...

2006 Liberty Sport 3.7 EVAP system nightmare. Seeking info, suggestions, help.

What do you mean by “plastic bushing”? See my issue posted about above which I refer to that entire upper assembly as the fuel sending unit (that’s where my crack was). I ask because my code is still on and tags expired last month, emissions passing required to update registration where I live LOL.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Bought a lot of Liberty parts today :) Plenty to do now on top of trans oil cooler lines on our main family ride. Mopar rear lower control arms, Mevotech rear upper tri link control arm thing, Mopar rear bump stops, and TYC headlights (originals mad faded).

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

@NoVA_KJ Ohhh so you returned them and went an entirely different brand. Maybe I missed that here, okay. Ugh maybe I will bite the bullet someday for that nice set up. My original front's are def sitting lower than my replaced rear coil springs and shocks now lol. At the moment with tire prices...

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

Nice! Like the red calipers. Glad it all worked out! Where did you get pre-assembled Moog strut assemblies to begin with? The only ones I have seen on RockAuto are the Monroe ones or whatever, that people say here are crap. I have priced out a separate OME build but it would come out to quite...

2006 Liberty Sport 3.7 EVAP system nightmare. Seeking info, suggestions, help.

I have fought a P0456 "Minor EVAP Leak" code on my 2004 Jeep for years now. It comes and goes lol. I have had a smoke test done twice, once on the overall vehicle and last fall, on just the fuel sending unit itself (see below). My initial issue was found upon dropping the fuel tank during the...

Lost in an endless loop trying to find part

I 2nd the one in Mt Airy MD. It's solid. Just got a new "4x4" fender badge there two weeks ago as mine randomly fell off at some point last year. Now my Jeep can stop being a 2wd I guess LOL

Clevis not aligning with LCA bushing

@NoVA_KJ Hi from Nova! You might try Exline Automotive down in Springfield. They have an off-road team or what not and I know do lift kits etc. on trucks. May have some experience with this. I have taken my Liberty there for an exhaust weld and plastic soldering of my top-portion of the...
