Bump. I have virtually bthe same parts list either on order or already purchased/installed. However, I've been hesitant to pull the trigger on the Moog UCA's since a. the ball joints aren't greasable, and b. I've read countless reviews saying they didn't come pre-greased. Does anyone have any...
So I rear ended someone on the highway last week when someone cut off the person in front of me. I was going around 15-20 mph on impact. Bent the front cross member pretty good causing the grill to hang loose, the gap between the hood and the front quarter panel to get wider towards the front...
Rear Doors Don't Work After Window Regulator Replacement
So last summer, both of my rear power window regulators failed within a week of one another. After replacing them with upgraded parts, I accidentally broke a couple of fragile plastic parts in each door. Now, the left side door only opens...
The L & R glass sides are pretty rusted. The Body side is moderately rusted on the R. Here's a pic of the L glass side. The photo doesn't capture how pitted it is. The strut didn't ride well on it at all.
So, my rear window struts finally kicked it after years of opening up halfway. I went to install new ones, and the ball joints they connect to were shot. All of the original black paint flaked off and the rust was so bad and pitted, some of the ball joints looked like little raisins. I cleaned...
Ok, I'm about to pull the trigger on these. Any suggestions for the hub covers? The Cragar ones aren't my cup of joe. I know there's an article on Lost about converting my stock ones to fit. Anyone have good luck with Gorillas? Also, do I need hub centric rings? The Cragar website says the rims...
I don't need a lift to swap out my stock steel wheels for the cragars, right? I'd like to just get them now with my current tires and upgrade everything else later.
I read your posts about how a 16x7 wheel is the way to go. I don't want to use spacers, and I want to have that muscular "filled in" look/stance in my wheel wells that 4" backspacing would give me. Problem is I just can't find any good aftermarket wheels that fit those specs. Any suggestions?
Not yet. I plan on getting the JBA econolift (got questions about that for another thread). I will get all of this done at the same time probably next spring.
After scouring through countless threads, these are the wheel specs that would give my Jeep that "filled out" wheel wells look. Problem is, I'm having trouble finding them. Almost all the wheels I like are 16x8. Any suggestions?
I've been having occasional issues starting my engine the last 5 weeks. The motor will barely turn, but not enough to start. I'd give it a few seconds and then it'll start after the 2nd or 3rd try. This would happen once a couple of weeks, but in the last two weeks, it's happened 4 times...
Bump. My '06 didnt come with fog lights and I'm finally pulling the trigger on this. I've scoured the internet and nobody is selling this kit for my model year anymore. Im thinking of just buying the parts a la carte, but want to make sure I'm getting everything I need. Here's what I'm thinking...
I should rephrase that I intended to "upgrade" my suspension, but keep stock ride height (or close to it) by switching out the shocks and springs. I wanted to know if there were any other components I should upgrade as well that would more easily set me up for a lift in the future (i.e...
Hey guys. I've owned my 2006 KJ 3.7/4x4 for almost a year now and I've been very pleased minus the poor fuel economy. Anyway, I bought it with almost 87k miles, so I immediately did the following:
- BG Fuel line/driveline/engine block/tranny/power steering/brake line flush
- New brake disks...
Hey guys. New to the site. Been trolling for a couple weeks to make sure my Q's weren't already answered. Anyway, I just bought a set of NGK iridium spark plugs for my '06 Sport (3.7L) and want to upgrade the stock wires while I'm at it. I've searched online for weeks and haven't found any...
