Painting my grill?
I don't think paint will stick to chrome much. So you'll have to buff or grind it. Have you searched for replacement grills? Did some of the other models have a non chrome grill. Junkyard. That way you just get what you need, with all the extra parts and fasteners, etc., and any other miscellaneous parts you might need, screws, clips, springs, etc., but not a bunch of other stuff and broken stuff that you don't need that sits in your yard for the next 50 years. Drove 135 miles to the junkyard because the computer showed they had a car like mine. And I wanted the hood. I got the hood, even the same color, but not the same paint. Air tank..maybe?
I have been carrying two air compressors on my motorcycle for years. Twice I used one, I believe. They are both the side of a pack of cigarettes, but will fill a tire, not too slowly. Tow trucks used to carry a compressor. I never saw one run air tools, but they did fill tires. I don't...- David13

Mystery Spring Appeared
