Those are the correct gears in that link. That place knows what the liberty needs, maybe call them to confirm they actually have them.
I do not recommend nitro gears for the rear diff. Not happy with the amount of noise mine make at 70mph+. Silent below that speed though.
What happened to the mopar unit? Very odd for a new mopar CV to go bad that quickly.
Typically a Napa reman unit is recommended. Had one on my KJ for around 14 years.
TJKJ was always very adamant that the clutch driven fan didnt engage till 230F. This was with the factory HD cooling, no idea where he got that info from.
I added the HD cooling after having my 04 for well over 10 years and didnt notice the transmission running any cooler at all. I had a trans...
You'll need to remove the mechanical fan from the water pump and pull it up and out with the fan shroud/electric fan. Its good times.
Im not sure how you could remove the HD fan shroud with the mechanical fan in place. The shroud goes completely around it.
Hardest part of getting the radiator...
Cant imagine the rear hitch wiring goes to the front sway bar, but Ive seen more insane things...
It would make the most sense for the wiring around the front sway bar to be for towing the liberty....
You certianly dont have the HD shroud, thats interesting. Ive never seen an 04 with the smaller shroud. If the fan cannot be removed from that shroud, then of course it wont work with the HD shroud.
Have you checked to see if the original fan will fit the bigger shroud?
Does your 04 not already have the bigger shroud? I thought all 2004's came with the HD fan shroud(mine did). Do you have photos?
I dont believe the KJ has a front axle universal. Most certainly doesnt have a $700 one.
Maybe they meant front driveshaft CV joint? Those can be rebuilt.
Yes, the brake fluid should spit out some then stop.
If you have the coolant bleeder ***** removed, coolant should be spilling out all over since the place since the coolant reservoir is higher than the bleed *****.
Wonder what vehicle takes a renault thermostat besides a renault?? Most certainly isnt a liberty....
Thermostat nor the housing are expensive and you do not need to replace the entire housing... Just in case someone finds this in the future and gets confused.
