    KK lift/tires, etc. general info.

All KKs have Brake Lock Differentials.

    2017 Compass

I haven't driven one. As long as it accelerates as fast as a KK, I most likely wouldn't have an issue with it. I'm so conditioned to this slow brick on wheels, I'd probably be OK.

    RIP My KJ

Traded in a '08 Dodge Avenger, saw it a few weeks later. Traded in an '08 Grand Cherokee, saw it about 2 years ago. It happens!

    2017 Compass

Depends on trim level. My '04 and '06 were both KJJH74. My '10 is KKJM74.

    2017 Compass

I'm aware. But remember, I work there. It's WK. lol3.gif The full code is WKJH74 for a Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. NOT WK2JH74.

    2017 Compass

Thanks Bob. While I never actually *left*, the postings did slow down. lol3.gif Help for Renegade and Compass power are coming soon, I'm sure. For now, buy a Cherokee.

    2017 Compass

The official platform/program/sales code is "WK". Nowhere in our system does "WK2" exist. Anywhere.

    2017 Compass

2,000lbs. If you want to tow a heavier load, get a Cherokee. If you *REALLY* want to tow, I make Grand Cherokees for that purpose. lol3.gif

    KK lift/tires, etc. general info.

Your post is the FIRST time I have ever heard of a transfer case clutch pack problem.

    KK lift/tires, etc. general info.

The KK seems bigger because it *is* bigger. The seating position of the driver's seat is actually the same I believe. The dash is higher. At least that's how it feels to me. I actually prefer this over the feel of the KJ.

    How-To: get 30+ mpg from a KK

I was looking forward to tips. lol3.gif

    KK lift/tires, etc. general info.

151K, no clutch pack problems in the transfer case. Tow hooks are the same, along with the engine skid. Skids are still available.

    Uh oh! ID this bolt?

Looks almost like a brake caliper pin bolt...

    Biggest Tire

Should still be OK. There's a lot more wheelhouse space.

    Rear folding seats

They fold pretty flat, I don't think it's PERFECTLY pickup truck flat, but it's close. The KK rear seats also lock in place when folded down. Depending on where your front (driver and passenger) seats are located, you will have to remove the rear seat head restraints. But that's an easy task.

May buy this 2005 Jeep Liberty

They're probably going to tell you that they don't know anything. Bring your own mechanic. But honestly, you'll probably be OK with it for a couple years unless it has the 2.7L V6.

May buy this 2005 Jeep Liberty

Truth! We all know how much time I have spent in the cheap '02 DN. ...but at least I knew it all before I got into the whole thing! But it WILL get me back and forth to up front parking spaces at work. lol3.gif
