another dead battery
Unrolling the windows uses a good # of amps, only so many to go around. Probably normal, I think I've seen this on every vehicle I've owned w/ power windows. Someone could probably provide a more technicaler explanation, but thats the net.- BluPhant

Gas warning light?
The EVIC mirrors the light... I've had the light come on a handful of times since owning my KJ, and the EVIC generally reports about 15 miles remaining. On one occasion, I drove for about 20 miles with the EVIC reporting 0 miles left... I'm not proud of that, and I know its not the right thing...- BluPhant

EVIC question
The settings that you're talking about (how doors unlock headlight on time etc) are not stored in the EVIC at all. The EVIC is just a means of telling the jeeps BCM to change a setting. The setting should be stored in the BCM. So while you can mess with power settings for your evic, and may...- BluPhant

Dont ever cut factory wires. If you've got a factory stereo, you'll use all the extras they provide. Any circuit city or best buy is going to have the right stuff, but as you said, you may have to hunt for it.
