Rear squeak when reversing
Rear Upper Control Arm needs replaced. Two of my 3 Liberties were replaced. This task takes about 4 hours for the first and 2 hours for second Jeep. I have pneumatic tools which makes a lot easier.- Phuc Nguyen

Yes, 6 disc CD player is a seperate unit by itself. Just de-soldered and re-soldered a few points and done, instruction came with the unit. Check this site for more information...- Phuc Nguyen

You cannot bypass CD mode, due to the unit is trying to re-home. BTW, there is no CD mode option when the unit is not working properly.- Phuc Nguyen

I put up with this issue for a few years until had enough with the annoying sound everytime the ignition is turned on, and decide to work on the issue. This annoying sound is due to small plastic gear inside CD player is broken/missing teeth. There is a replacement CD player unit only available...- Phuc Nguyen

I had this issue with one of my Liberties. It's bearing seal that goes bad. I replaced this bearing from Advance Auto Parts. Part No: SL-203-FF, $3.99. A/C compressor pulley on 2004 Liberty
My two 05 Liberties are the same as yours, this is normal. In summer the A/C will cycle when mode selector is on foot even though the A/C button is not turn on. In order to stop the A/C clutch stop cycle on, off , on, off, I directed the mode to vent selection.- Phuc Nguyen

Completely destroyed oil pan plug
Have had this issue with one of my Liberties. I hammered a 12 points 1/2" socket onto the rounded plug, be patient, and try to get onto the plug as fas as you can. Then use extended iron pipe to ratchet driver and try to break loose with one motion, DO NOT ROCK, or it will strip again. Hope this...- Phuc Nguyen

Engine light is on with code P0700 and P0740 TCC issue
2004 Jeep Liberty, 3.7L. First, code P0137, O2 sensor 1, bank2. This issue is corrected and then code P0700 and P0740 came up.
