I've had my Maxxis Bighorn 762's on for a couple days now.
I wanted to try them around town and on the highway. These I think are the closest to the old MTR's as you can get. The highway ride is quiet nice - I thought they'd be alot noisier but they are fine- no need for stereo booster:smokin...
You're probably trimmed at your pinch welds and some plastic too :superhack:- I'm guessing. The Clevis lift certainly gave you the needed room.
The cool thing is the 265 75's make the Liberty look like a Tonka Truck....for those of you old enough to remember those...
Look on the bright side - you don't have to deal with Salt. They put so much salt down in the mid east coast it's rediculous. :freak3:
I blast my truck's undercarraiges every few weeks in the snow season to stay ahead of the nightmare that corrosion can bring.
Alberta must see quite a bit...
You're going to rub if you do any offroading with 265 75 16's. I know because a ran 245/75 16's with a 2.5" lift (with pinch weld mods and plastic cutting)and it rubbed offroad. Mild dirt roads and speed bumps you'll probably be OK with 265 70's or 245 75's - with pinch weld and plastic...
Great pics...Snow already...We actually had a very pleasant weekend here around the Washington, D.C. but colder weather is on its' way. We don't usually get any snow 'til after the first of the year. Thanks for the snow pics - can't wait.:smokin:
If you shortened "the Length" of your KJ....
I've been trying to learn Corel Draw and was screwing around with my KJ pic again.
If you shortened your KJ
It would look alot like an old RAV 4:
We'll just leave well enough along:freak3:
I'm been using the General Grabber AT2's with gret results. They handle very well on and offroad. And they are not that expensive. They come in 3 different load ranges depending on the size.
I think I'm getting an Optima. Tire of cleaning the posts.
In my Wrangler I put an Optima in after cleaning the posts up and it looked perfect for the next 2 years until I sold it. Always started in very cold weather first crank and year round for that fact. Should have pulled it out - for my...
With winter well on its' way -
I ordered 5 Maxxis Bighorn 762's in 265/75R16's
I've got my suspension right where I want it with the JBA system including Adjust-a-Struts, Bilsteins, and UCA's. The ride is awesome.
These tires should be about what I was used to on my Wrangler with the...
