On the other hand maybe just go for the lowrider effect.
:freak3::freak3::freak3::freak3::freak3::freak3:
And I was worried about going too far the other way.....
Got to love it.
You actually can lift over 3" without using the aftermarket UCA's it just will have a pretty big angle at the ball joint but it will align and work. The replacement UCA puts a better angle at the ball joint and is a little longer.
There are plenty here lifted using original UCA's and there are...
I'm using the JBA lift, JBA UCA's with Bilstein shocks. I'm up over 3.5" in the front and the JBA system works awesome and is designed to be up at that height. This system is not cheap though. Here's a pic of that system up front. But I blacked mine all out just cause I like the wheel wells...
WELCOME
In the last few months I've learned a huge amount of info about the Liberty from this website. I've owned and driven Wranglers for years and this was my first Liberty. Great vehicle all around. And is quite fun offroad.
I've put 2 different sets of springs on, 2 sets of shocks...
I'm running 245 75 16 10 ply Grabber AT2's with a 3.75 lift up front.
Great tire.
I'm switching to 265 75 16 Maxxis Bighorn 762's for winter.
Here's the 245's with 2.5" lift:
This is where I'm sitting at about 3.75 and Al's UCA's are great because they do put the angles back to where you want them.
But, my Lib ran for years at 2.5" with stock arms with the previous owner.
A 2" lift with a little trimming will run the 245 75 16 (31's)
pinch weld trimming
You've got to be up in the front about 3+ inches to consider
265 75 16's (32's) with some wheel well plastic cutting, pinch weld trimming and a set of UCA's wouldn't hurt.
If you want more tire than that...
My 98' Dodge Van does this only at start up in cold weather but not consistantly. It's got the 318 engine and it's been run with syn oil from the start.....
Totally bummed. I've been at this for some time - way before I posted the 'wanted to buy' here. Nobody seems to want to let one go.
I'm going to have to pay up when the time comes....
Well I thought I'd try what I had around the house using guide lines from this procedure:
http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39398
Worked great!
Mild dishwasheing liquid and warm water doing the whole panel that the stain was on.
Used a clean white cloth (warm water) with...
The above posted pic parts came from PDQ Auto Body Parts
I bought them online.
Here's the website:
I think you use the words "blind rivet" in the search box
http://www.autobodysupplies.com/greatauto.htm
Found some in my shop:
Can't remember where I got them but I can try to find out.
If you only need a few I can part with some.
The one on the right has a phillips type head. The one on the left is just press in.
I've got a couple different types ...How many do you need for the repair?
If I have what you want, hec, I'll just send them to ya - no charge.
I'll go back out to the garage and see if I can locate them.
