does any one run these lift kits?
how do you like them ? pro's cons etc.
I've been reading allot about just adding spacers and it seems to me it just puts more strain on the stock springs and struts /shocks. am I wrong?

You are right.

Best option would be OME springs, with Bilstein shocks. Might cost a bit more more, but you'll be set for a long time. Ride is incredible.

Again
The Rockfather II kit does in fact use OME springs and front shocks
The rear uses their own springs ( which they refuse to give spring rate on ) and their own shocks
so half of their kit is great
Other than that anywhere else in the world has way better customer service

I'm using the JBA lift, JBA UCA's with Bilstein shocks. I'm up over 3.5" in the front and the JBA system works awesome and is designed to be up at that height. This system is not cheap though. Here's a pic of that system up front. But I blacked mine all out just cause I like the wheel wells totally black.

The ride is Phenomenal. I really feel like I have better control of the vehicle on and offroad.
There are other options like the OME and certainly less expensive and proves to have excellent results.

I have the rockfather, and the rear shocks did not last a year. I replaced them with rancho's. It works like any other ome-based system.

Get some OME's from someplace like OK 4WD, add some front and rear shocks, a shim-type top plate (plagerized for profit by another KJ'er -I'd find a legitimate source) and run 245/75/16's. That size gets you within .5" of the tallest KJ tire and does not tax the suspension and drivetrain.

JBA is a stand-up guy and small business man. His stuff is cutting edge, but pricey. The Rockfather and most of the stuff that JBA offers are not in the same league.

And for the 10 millionth time:
RRO is one of the ********* companies in the off road world. Some would call some of their actions thievery. Their customer service is worse than non-existent. Do not do business with RRO. RockKrawler and Rough country are also crappy.
