You take wide flat blade like a putty knife and pry at the joint in the middle. They're held by two clips. Once off they unbolt with a 10mm socket. I made some plastic filler plates and put Teflon tape on the threads and bolted them down.

The wheels are the MB TKO from America's/Discount tire. $100 apiece. I've ran spots on all 6 of my XJ's in the past and never had a problem in the tight NW forests. Plus more than handy if I need a rock light on the drivers side.

Thanks all, would love to have a trail ready bumper for the front but have to wait till finances get better.
Thought about a push bar but don't want to scare local PD into thinking I'm a Fed :D

Spent half the day installing a Unity door mount spotlight. Anyone considering this add on would be advised to go slow and careful as it involves drilling two small and one large hole in the door. I felt it turned out really well and have a more versatile light source

I've had huskys in my old Jeeps but ended up going Weathertech in the last two. Long term the huskys start looking worn and ratty.
Plus I like to buy American and the Weathertechs are made in the USA.

Why the heck is the US Version illegal? VOC's?? I scuffed and painted mine after doing a plastidip trial. Bugs stuck to it and were hard to remove but I liked the black over the chrome so I ended up painting it with paint.

Had to look this up for another thread do I thought I'd share here. If it's posted elsewhere I apologize. You can request the factory build sheet of your Jeep. This gives all the options, colors and what it was shipped with.

If you go on Jeeps website you can request a build sheet listing colors and all the options your jeep was given at the factory. It's free

I find mine doing this after I lifted it and before I aligned it. The larger coils were deflecting in on speed bumps and connecting to the side of the sheet metal behind the coil

Heck, I feel weird having enlarged the UCA pockets for my JBA arms. Everytime I hear a weird noise off road I'm waiting for my CV's to grenade

I've ran discos for offroading on all my Jeeps except the Liberty due to the IFS. To each his own but IMHO it's not worth the risks on road.

They are to counter any axle vibration helping with drive quality. To me it's dead weight, with both removed I've seen no noticeable difference. They are popular to bandaid design issues.

Lol, you guys talked me into it ;) I've never saw the value in the past but thought I'd check. Thanks for all the input!
