    You take wide flat blade like a putty knife and pry at the joint in the middle. They're held by two clips. Once off they unbolt with a 10mm socket. I made some plastic filler plates and put Teflon tape on the threads and bolted them down. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2

    They are to counter any axle vibration helping with drive quality. To me it's dead weight, with both removed I've seen no noticeable difference. They are popular to bandaid design issues. Sent from Dark Side of the Moon using Tapatalk 2
