sorry that was the wrong pic.
these are 265/75s
I would take the spacers off. idk I guess tomorrow I'll have to turn the wheel and see how close it comes when turning. Then maybe my ignorant ass will believe you.
and on a side note. did you cut down your CV's?
Even if my fenders look like this? Or is it the rear of the flare I need to worry about? I was thinking like a 285/65-16 (30.59" diameter, 11.22" wide) and I can easily take the spacers off if they would be a problem.
What is the widest tire I could fit on 16x8 MOABs? I had 265/75s on my stock 16x7 alloys. Which was supposedly the widest I could go in that rim. Anyone know the widest I could go staying around the 245/75 diameter? I'm not good with the whole tire numbers thing.
I bought some 1.5" ones off ebay and one of the nuts welded itself to the lug.. now i only have them up front. running the 1.5" spacers with my MOABS havent had any problems with the bearings.. just the cheap lugs..
In reality it depends how much your suspension has already sagged. And since it's a spacer lift. It will multiply the rate at which they sag. You will most likely encounter maximum rubbing. A large portion of your wheel well in the front will need to be cut out and possibly some of the fender's...
I do not know exactly what specific changes have been made throughout the different models. But I'm guessing improvements on areas where customers have had problems with them. And a switch from black to red powdercoat. JBAs website might be able offer more info or contact him.
I run the JBA gen 4.5s and love them. I look at it this way. He's made multiple different "gens" of them over the years which shows he is advancing his product to make it better and better. Great customer service. If there is a problem with them. Boom fixed immediately. Plus the cool red...
My first lift was a 2.5" rustys spacer lift. A week after that I put on 265/75r16s I had to cut the shit out of my wheel well, fender and pinch weld just to get it home. Then it sagged over the course of a few months. Finally I went to OME/Rancho/KK clevis yada yada ya and I'm sitting at like...
Built my shackles for $65 and they are strong as balls.. have been snatched/yanked out of "sludge mud" that was almost over my front bumper. and many other times.. I have inspected them and doesn't seem to be any bending or movement. There was a guy on here that had his factory hook rip out as...
