Emblems are the only things I've ever Plasti Dipped and it's never came off It looks great, my old Grand Prix had it for 3 years before it got totaled without ever touching it up The KJ has it done as well and has had it for about a year with zero wear or fading- jeeplib05

Amp/Sub installation under rear seats
It is possible, I had a small 500W RF amp under the seat but I kept a 8" subwoofer in the trunk with a small box to preserve most of the trunk space You would need a shallow subwoofer and the box would need to be extremely low profile.. more than likely not the correct cu. in for any subwoofer...- jeeplib05

If I only want 1.5" lift...
If you're willing to go 2" just get the HD springs and go 2.5" It's not that much higher.. IMO 1.5"-2" wouldn't even barely look lifted and the HD would probably feel better since they're a more firm spring Also you'll fit bigger tires easier and not worry about rubbing I sit at 3.25" and it...- jeeplib05

Hood idea
Be different, make yourself a hood with a functional scoop down the middle or something similar I think it'd be cool to see if done right, and you can never have too much air going in to cool down that engine and also dissipate heat at idle If it all goes good then you'll have a unique hood, if...- jeeplib05

New or different head lights
No headlight housing options for KJs, all are 7" and ours are 7.25" or so I run HIDs in mine, others run LEDs and also Philips Just depends on what you want to achieve in terms of brighteness, cost, etc- jeeplib05

Here's My Plan
Checkout Trail Master - Trail Master TM5, 15x8 Wheel with 5 on 4.5 Bolt Pattern - Gloss Black - TM5-5865 | 4WheelParts.com I have these and they fit great, but I also have 3.25" of lift and run 31s They're solid and have zero rust on them after this past winter, still look glossy and new- jeeplib05

Subs Messing Up BCM?

Rear Spring Clunk after install?
Highly doubt it's the springs, but if your shocks aren't torqued correctly or something about them is malfunctioning then they'll clunk My Bilstein's did the same until I put the bushing kit on now they're fine The springs cant make contact with anything but the upper/lower iso's- jeeplib05

I don't remember 100% but I think it was $40-$50 for both, shouldn't take longer than an hour of labor to get them done so whatever they charge hourly is usually what you'll pay unless they're slow and milk people for their money So every shop will vary- jeeplib05

Back Spacing
Like I said, I needed 3.25" and pound the pinch weld to make mine not rub at all but it's close If you go 3.5" you'll be fine 15x8 with the 3.75" bs works fine don't worry about it, I have them on 31s and they fit great and look very good- jeeplib05
